Description

Isabella Oxomer
age: Unknown
gender: female
height: 5'6"
weight: Undisclosed
hair: red-black
eyes: red-brown
blood type: unknown
weapon: Flintlock pistol
nationality: Portuguese
race: Accused Demon

Once a member of the Schattenjäger Organization and filling the top tier along with partners Ryle Daup, Mellik Metzger and Rute Hämäläinen, after the disappearance of Mellik and the resignation of Rutee, both Ryle and Isabella were accused of being Demons. While Ryle slipped away without notice or another word, Isabella was able to plead down her case and spared an execution at the hands of the Order of the Resurrection, and instead was expelled from the Organization and deported to the Island of Auckengill under the agreement that while she stay there she assist the Schattenjäger by creating antidotes for the bite of the Gorgon and Midas rats that frequented many places Agents had to travel.

Quiet in nature, Isabella's conspiracy with Ryle and subsequent repentance for her actions lead her to become the only Accused Demon to ever escape execution, and be protected under the Schattenjäger's own terms. Eccentric and mostly untrusting of any and all who come calling to her abode in Auckengill (which so happens to be a deep cavern), she is "fondly" known as the "crazy cat woman" due to the fact that she keeps an innumerable amount of felines with her in her exile, and occasionally "cave hag" by those that are ... less than admirers.

It is said that her "demonic" presence takes the shape of a feline with the wings of a bat in her shadow, though only the most religious and devout are said to ever see such demonic presences. Like all other Demons, however, she has no apparent powers or strengths. To all others, she appears as just another normal person.

While she has her quirks, a bit of a temper and skill with a pistol, for the most part Isabella is an amiable person, once she learns to trust those that come to visit.

Example of a Demon character. She's very minor, so her bio is short.

Here's a little bit more about the Schattenjäger-verse demons

The idea of the Demon is as old as religion itself, and therein perhaps lie the answer to their riddle. Demons exist only so long as even a single person fears them, and because of this they are quite immortal. "Fighting" demons is literally a waste of time, as fighting them reassures their existance, and because of this they will always exist. Unfortunately, no one realizes this.

"Tricky abominations" were the words used to describe demons. Their existence seemingly only perpetuated by the hatred of the humans and the Vampires, "demons" are a force no one knows quite how to deal with. Demons look no different than anyone else, and are thus very difficult to discern. They've no horns or wings or hellfire to trumpet their arrival, and even can seem innocuous enough. The fact of the matter is that not all of them are even malevolent. Some demons, with the inclusion of one Isabella Oxomer of Portugal, are known for their unusual temperance and benevolence, though are still quite untrusted.

Their abilties (if any) are vastly undocumented, though it's said the truly devout and religious can see their true forms in the shapes of their shadows.

The accusition of a demon is a serious thing, much like the accusations of being a witch in the 1600's.

It's unsure as to whether or not Demons take the form of humans, ARE humans, or are posessing humans. They are capable of reproduction just as normal, and whether or not that offspring will be demonic in any way is unknown as well.
