Descendant of one of the forefathers of the Schattenjäger Organization, Mellik's projected path as a youth was to become one of the Organization's next leaders. Ushered into the Schattenjäger at an early age, Mellik excelled under the tutelage of each of the Organization's most prominent members and swiftly became one himself, landing the position of First Tier Hunter and holding onto it for many years. He vanished during a particularly dangerous mission and was some time later reported dead, only to reappear again in Italy manning the Schattenjäger vessel, Vespertine. Though scarred and disheveled, he seems to be in good health and humor, despite the mysterious circumstances of his disappearance.

Second in a series of character redesigns from my Schattenjäger (Shadow Hunter .. Or, alternately in another language, "Treasure Hunter") story. That writeup is incredibly small and slapdash; there's a lot more to him but.. eh. My scanner kinda killed the quality of this one but I was too lazy to bother fighting with it. XD
