Diminutive in stature and girth, Ryle Daup was once among the team of first tier hunters in the Schattenjäger Guild (the others were Mellik Metzger, Rute Hämäläinen, and Isabella Oxomer , as an assassin against Vampire leaders, and the Organization's most brilliant surgeon, as well as a competant jeweler. While respected for his skills with the knife both on the field and in their operating room, Ryle was never a particularly popular social figure, though this suited him just fine. He had earned himself the nickname "the Guillotine Grin" for the eerie, though passive smile that he wore at almost all times, when around others and by himself, standing still or fighting. Reclusive to a point of silence, it was thought at one point that he and Isabella were some kind of item, though the latter outrightly denied any such thing, claiming simply that Ryle was comfortable speaking at great length ( and in " riddles so roundabout that one could only wish to understand; a testament of his overactive imagination putting his grandiose vocabulary to the test") with her. The truth of the matter came out with the disappearance of Mellik Metzger and the testimony of witnesses that later claimed to have seen Ryle and Isabella murder their fellow First Tier Hunter. Isabella, while she helped conspire the plot with Ryle, took no direct part in Mellik's murder, and instead kept Rute at bay as Ryle did as he pleased. Even she was not aware of the reason that Ryle no longer wished Mellik alive, nor the reason she agreed to his plot in the first place.
Though, after Mellik's unexplained return, Having lost his positions as surgeon and assassin for the Guild, Ryle vanished from the scene of the Guild with his newly appointed "Arch-Demon" title, and faded uneasily into the background of the bustle that the Organization always saw. While the act was far from forgotten, it was subdued by more pressing matters as time went on, and he was nowhere in sight.
A self-proclaimed sociopath (though what person would really disagree? Nothing angers him more than being "mislabled" a psychopath), Ryle sports an eclectic personality, and a knack for getting under the skin of others without much effort. Despite this, he is quite clever and exceedingly intelligent, excelling in various surgical practices of his own design, as well as posessing vast knowledge of poisons and counteragents, and talented with his stilettos. He also wears large rings in which poison powders can be carried.
During his time at the guild, it was a regular routine for him to partake of his own poisons to gain an immunity to them (probably what aided in his diminutive height), in case of the offchance that he cut himself with his own weapons.Of course, they always say that there is a fine, fine line between genius and madness.
He has thus far managed to fly under the radar, if he is in fact still alive. Regardless, he has been credited with the killing of several Hunters from the Guild, as well as Templars from the Order of the Resurrection, though no one can truly confirm if this is the truth or not. His whereabouts, as well as his motives are mysteries equal in greatness.

lMao okay this is weird because this is me summoning old Ryle from the land of the dead or something. Firstly, yes, his name is a terrible terrible joke. And I love it.
Ryle is probably my second oldest character, and this is mostly his first incarnation. He became a bit of a sissy after a while in old RP when he came across his (randomly decided XD) wife again... But this is totally oldschool Ryle through and through. I sort of missed the old sociopath version, so I just had to bring him back. 
But still, what is he without his hetero lifemate Guy ?
